**Date Change**Animal Sculptures with Gracie Fossett (3 weeks, Fridays Sept 11 - Sept 25) 1:00pm - 3:30pm
Handbuild an animal sculpture using approachable sculpting techniques over four focused days: This class covers an introduction to materials, sketching your design, and building the sculpture using slab, coil, and pinch methods to form the body, attach ears, snouts, tails, or textured fur, and refine joints with scoring and slip. You will focus on surface decoration, underglaze painting, and a clear or colored glaze application before bisque and final firing. First 2 weeks will be building with the last week set for glazing. This workshop is beginner-friendly though having some basic knowledge would be helpful.
