This 4-week workshop you will work with Michelle to build a custom portrait sculpture of anyone of your choosing. Michelle will go over the skills it takes to create facial features to help define your sculpture. The first week will be spend building the bust and the second week you will be hallowing out the busts. There will be a 2 week break between the second and 3rd class to allow the bust to dry evenly and to be bisqued. When you return the focus will then be on glazing and finishing your sculpture.

Materials and Firing Fees
All tools will be provided
Firing Fees: Firing costs are calculated by volume at $0.03 per cubic inch per fire. The total cost for a completed piece requiring both bisque and glaze firings is $0.06 per cubic inch.
Studio Preparation
Attire: Pottery is a messy process. Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes that you do not mind getting dirty.
