In this single day workshop (all plates above are from their last workshop!), Genna Howard will share various techniques of applying underglaze, including a unique method for integrating the foundations of water color painting and traditional tattooing. Students will be introduced to an array of techniques for applying underglaze to pre bisque fired plates which will be provided. The techniques covered can be utilized across a broad range of painting styles,from bold punchy and colorful to soft watercolor and painterly images. The glaze firing of one 10" x 10" plate is included in the workshop fee. The studio will provide bisqued plates as part of the fee.
